Think about certain keywords that people might use when searching for subject areas that include your site. For example, if you have the Musical Instruments Buy & Sell Website, keywords might include "musical", "instruments", "buy", "sell", "advertising", "ads", "classified", "information", "sales", etc. Use these keywords in the description of your website, so that it will pop up in the most possible search results lists.
There are services available on the web that will list your website information with multiple search databases, so you don't have to do it individually yourself. Some services are free, some charge a fee, and some will do multiple types of services.
